Practical Workforce Planning
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through job evaluation and grading and psychometric assessment on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: workforce planning has moved from an administrative task to a board level concern, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with employee relations, CCMA preparation and skills development planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of employee relations rather than escalating it, measured against the Employment Equity Act
- Explain CCMA preparation to someone who does not do the work
- Make a decision about skills development planning without waiting for a specialist
- Bring employment equity reporting into line with current good practice
