Project Scope Management: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through critical path analysis and quality assurance on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: most project failure is visible in the schedule long before it is admitted in the status report, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk registers, scope definition and lessons learned in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain risk registers to someone who does not do the work, measured against earned value management
  • Bring scope definition into line with current good practice
  • Improve lessons learned within their own organisation
  • Take ownership of stakeholder communication rather than escalating it
