Succession Planning for Executives: Tools and Techniques

5 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through leading distributed teams and crisis leadership on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: executives are increasingly appointed for functional depth and then judged on enterprise judgement, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with strategy execution, board reporting and mergers and integration in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review strategy execution and say plainly whether it is working, measured against established strategy execution practice
  • Spot where board reporting is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Improve mergers and integration within their own organisation
  • Put executive decision making on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
